Wall inlets: Are strategically positioned along the sidewalls of swine facilities to facilitate controlled airflow to the building or from a corridor to the rooms. By allowing fresh air to enter the building while minimizing drafts, wall inlets contribute to maintaining a comfortable environment conducive to the well-being of the animals. The calculation of wall inlets and where to place each unit demands a precise calculation.  The usual selection should consider the desired total air flow, the air throw range and the placing of the equipment to allow even distribution of airflow during all ventilation levels (minimal till maximal) at specific working pressure.
