Rotecna participates on 5th and 6th June at the World Pork Expo 2024

Rotecna will travel on 5th and 6th June to Des Moines (Iowa, United States), where a new edition of the World Pork Expo will take place, the largest event dedicated to the pork sector held in the country. Aware of its magnitude and importance, on this occasion we have a renovated space of more than 100 m2 where we will show, together with our American distributor, our wide range of products for each of the different phases of pig farming, from electronic feeding systems to the most efficient slurry management solutions. 

After receiving more than 10,000 visitors in its last edition, this year the World Pork Expo hopes to exceed those numbers. On this edition, the public will be able to interact with more than 400 participating companies, both from North America and the rest of the world, and discover the latest technologies and innovations for pig farming in an exhibition area of ​​​​more than 120 hectares. With these figures, the fair is positioned as an important meeting point and generation of contacts for professionals in the pork industry.

It should be noted that the United States has a powerful pork sector, very professionalized, highly technical and very technologically advanced. In 2022, it had more than 62,000 pig farms and a census of 74.5 million heads, which gives an average size of farms of about 1,200 heads per farm.
