ROTECNA, S.A. (hereinafter, “ROTECNA”) is aware of the importance of the privacy and data protection regulations in force. We attach great importance to protecting the security, integrity, veracity and confidentiality of the data supplied by our customers and users and act responsibly and transparently in this regard. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter, “the Policy”) is designed to inform you of the way we collect, process and protect personal data, whether via https://www.rotecna.com (hereinafter, “the Platform”) or any other means such as by phone, email or postal mail.

ROTECNA states that it has endeavoured to provide the most simple and clear description possible of this Policy. Outside of the cases in the above table, before processing your data we will always seek your consent. Consent will be the free, specific, informed and unequivocal indication of your wishes.

How long do we keep your data?

If you have a business relationship with us, the data you supply for this purpose will be kept so long as the relationship is in place and for the years needed to comply with legal obligations. Your data will otherwise be kept until you ask us to stop storing them.

If you are applying for a job, the data you supply for this purpose will be kept until the job position has been awarded or you exercise your right to cancel. If you do not exercise your right to cancel within 2 years your data will be automatically cancelled after this time.

Who do we disclose your data to?

Your data may be disclosed to the business partners we have commercial agreements with to promote and sell our products for processing in accordance with the abovementioned purposes.

Outside of these cases we will not assign your data to third parties unless there is a legal obligation.

Will your personal data be transferred to third countries or international organisations?

Yes. We can provide access to your data to companies that perform services on our behalf as Data Processors (e.g., website technical support or data housing services) located inside and outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). Our service providers located outside the EEA are covered by standard model contracts approved by the European Commission. Our service providers are not authorised to share or use the personal data we put at their disposal for purposes other than those for which we contract their services.

What rights cover you in relation to the processing of your data?

You are entitled to receive information about the processing ROTECNA performs with your personal data. Specifically:

  • You have the right to access your personal data to know which data concerning you we are processing and to seek the rectification of inaccurate data or, where applicable, their erasure when, among other reasons, the data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected.
  • In certain circumstances, you may seek a restriction on processing your data, in which case we will only keep them for the exercise or defence of legal claims.
  • In certain circumstances and for reasons related to your particular situation, you may object to the processing of your data. ROTECNA shall cease to process your data, except for compelling legitimate grounds or the exercise or defence of potential legal claims.
  • You will have the right to portability, i.e., for the personal data you supply to be directly transmitted to another controller in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format, where technically feasible

You may exercise the above rights by sending an email to rotecna@rotecna.com. We will reply to your requests as quickly as possible and in all cases within one (1) month after receiving them. Under certain circumstances, this deadline may be extended for a further two (2) months, in which case we will suitably inform you within one (1) month from receiving your request.

If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes data protection regulations or that we have not satisfied the exercise of your rights you may lodge a claim with the competent control authority according to your place of residence. You can consult the different control authorities on the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) website.

In any case, before lodging any claim, we would ask you to contact us at rotecna@rotecna.com so that we can try to settle the dispute in an amicable fashion.

Do you have the right to withdraw consent?

Yes. You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time, for one or various of the abovementioned purposes and to which you gave your consent by emailing us at rotecna@rotecna.com or writing to use at Polígono Industrial Navesma, Nav 3, 25310 Agramunt, Lleida, Spain.

Is it possible to modify this Privacy Policy?

Our Privacy Policy may be modified at any time.
