Solutions for gestation systems
The gestation phase involves managing sows that are available for insemination; sows coming from farrowing (or weaned), gilts (or nulliparous) and previously inseminated sows that that are on heat again (or repeated). The phase begins on the day of the insemination, and ends just a few days before giving birth so sows can adapt to the farrowing room.
The challenges in this phase are to achieve an optimum consumption of feed adapted to the condition of each sow (avoiding overfeeding and feed wastage) and to avoid any kind of stress (temperature, fights, ...). Thereby achieving high fertility and prolificacy rates. Rotecna has a wide range of products that meet all of these requirements.
